All the staff was super nice and made a simple butter pasta for my toddler. I will definitely be back! Loved the dough of the pizza too! I think it’s made of rice? Coeliac aware. Staff very knowledgeable, all pizza is GF, so no cross contamination issues. Delicious food and great service. Pasta can be GF hand made and their breads are ace too.

Excellent. Food. Top quality food & ingredients. Ridiculously cheap. Rui has a greatTeam. Musicians when available were very good too. Cheese board starter attached, we weren’t that hungry so thought at the price would be small. Think again! Best to book as gets full

Make sure check out this place it’s on a side street, great patio. The garlic bread was amazing and I had the risotto with fava beans and chorizo and my wife had the mushroom risotto and both were amazing. Our favourite meal of our whole trip and we have some delicious meals but this made for a great last meal in Portugal.
Wonderful little restaurant with special dishes. Every dish was delectable. The Caesar salad was great!

I recently visited Vaticano Aveiro and had such a great experience. The food was delicious (fresh, filled with flavor, and beautifully presented), the atmosphere was warm and very welcoming. The staff was super kind and and very attentive, and you can really tell they care about creating a great experience for every guest.
They had live music that night and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer, enjoy another glass of wine, and eat their Nutella pinsa for dessert (I'm still talking about it 3 weeks later lol). Wow. What a find. Wandered the streets and stumbled upon this little gem. The food is awesome. The risotto and the caprese, we ordered, was top drawer. We ordered a Cosmo. It came in a metal glass and in a little glass dome with smoke. First time ever have I seen it made and delivered that way. Tasted awesome. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is pleasant, warm and inviting. The wait staff is prompt and attentive. Visit Vaticano, be rewarded by the quality of their dishes and let your tastes be elevated.
I'm still here, sitting at the restaurant having finished my meal and was compelled to immediately share my experience! It's that good! Any future visit to Aveiro will include a visit to Vaticano.- Serviço

Beautiful experience :) The owner and staff were so friendly and willing to help out with anything we needed. The food was delicious. I would definitely go back here if we visit Aveiro again. Great Italian getaway in a Portuguese town!

This is a regular spot for us. It is one of those special places where the people make you feel like you are the most important person in the place. The food is incredible, service is perfect and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had the chicken parmesan today, which I devoured. Yum

I haven’t met such friendly and attentive waiters for a very long time. They were always trying to do their best to give you a good advice rather than make you pay more. Regarding food, we had ceasar (ok), crispy pork belly (great!!!), beetroot risotto (great) with mojito (good). Dinner here was a perfect finale for a long and intense day full of new experience

Wonderful quaint restaurant with incredible Italian food. I loved my rigatoni bolognese and my the linquine with fresh shrimp was fantastic with al dente noodles and sweet and succulent . Our 'friend has the traditional rissoto with portuguese sausage which was the best since we arrived. The owner was so helpful and friendly every course was better than the next. Will return soon to sample more dishes!
